This cowl or neck gator was a big hit last year. so, I made some more this year. It’s super simple and you don’t even need a serger. Start with a piece of polar fleece that measures approximately 26” x 15”. Fold in half, with right sides facing. Stitch the side to make a tube. Fold a 1” hem at both open ends. Topstitch using a twin needle for knits. And that is it! For cold weather places like here in Toronto – they are fab.
Shhhhhh don’t tell Alexa, I made a little purse for her. Ok, this is not so much a last minute. But it is fairly simple – it’s just a basic tote, with a bit of embroidery and ribbon. Oh, and some Swarovski crystals.
It’s a good thing Alexa is only 4 and doesn’t read my blog.
Got to get back to my sewing. I have a couple more things to make.
