You may remember this spring I did a sewing retreat in London with Joyce from Joyce’s Sewing Centre. One of her most wonderful customers picked up a couple of my sew creative patterns from Joyce. Well she made one of the projects and emailed some fabulous pictures. She writes:
“Hi Snez, If you recall, I was totally smitten with the embroidered clutch at the trunk show this past spring. I knew my sister-in-law would just love it and so I have made it as her Christmas present for this year. Photos attached. I learned a few things while making it so my next one will go smoother. It was unimaginative of me to do the black and white but at some point you will see a turquoise and brown one (for me). I envision her taking this clutch and wearing the beautiful black wide brim hat she has. I used the tip about the plastic insert behind the magnetic snaps and used two snaps, as you suggested, since this is the large size clutch.”
Judie, the bag turned out fabulous. Imagination is so overrated. I am certain that your sister-in-law will love it. Ooop, hope she does not read embroidery blogs. Nah, no chance.
