Hi everyone can't believe it's been several months since I posted. No, I haven't abandoned my blog. As many of you know I had to take some time off to deal with some medical issues. I had a bone marrow transplant in November. Until very recently I have not been able to do much of anything except rest. Won't know the final outcome of the transplant for a year or so, but so far so good. My doctor is happy and that makes me happy. In the last couple of weeks I've started to feel more like myself and have been able to do a bit of sewing and embroidery. I am not well enough to start up my embroidery club, but well enough to make the occasional project.
With Valentines around the corner I was inspired to make a fun little mug rug. You can get it through my Etsy store here. Except for the self-binding it’s made entirely in-the-hoop! The self binding is super duper easy to do and a great way to bind small items.
By the way, this project would make a fantastic class or embroidery club project, for all these same reasons!
If you think your customers would also enjoy making a Valentines mug rug in your embroidery club or in a class, I have an embroidery club price which, as you know, gives you the right to distribute the instructions to your customers. All you need to do is email me to setup the special price for you!
P.S. I always feel uncomfortable mentioning this but I feel I must, sewing retailers please understand that this and other items from my Etsy or Craftsy store are not meant to be used for your embroidery club or as classes. They are priced for consumers only. If you wish to use them for a club or class you will need to pay embroidery club prices. Just email me and I can setup a special purchase page for you. Thanks.
