Just got back from a week of sun and sand in Aruba. This was the view from our hotel room. The beach was only about a 100 feet from our back door.
Our room had a small covered terrace where we relaxed for part of the day. The other part we spent swimming, eating, drinking and walking. Here are my friends Monique and John and my husband at the bar.
This was the view from the bar towards the pool.
We even took a trip into town. Can't really remember the name of the town - sorry. All I know is that Aruba has a Dutch influence.
That's pretty much it. Between my husband's bad knees, John's bad leg and me not being able to stay in the sun for very long we did not have many options for day trips. But we had a great time anyway.
After our relaxing week my husband and I are glad to be back home, in spite of the cold and snow here in Toronto. I am excited to get back to planning my embroidery club projects. By the way, while I am still in the planning stages, I am very open to ideas and requests. So if there is some type of embroidery or a certain project idea that you would like to see, let me know. I will certainly try to work things in.
