I’ve had an online business, in one form or another for over 20 years now. And I am still a bit surprised and delighted when I get a sale from a faraway country; even more so when I am contacted by a customer in one of the said faraway countries. Before the turn of the century (yes, I mean the year 2000) the only chance of having a customer from Europe, Asia, Africa or Australia is if they were actually visiting your store, in person. Today it’s a common occurrence to get customers from all over the world shopping in online stores.
A couple of weeks ago a lovely lady from Bulgaria contacted me regarding the Herbs Embroidery Designs #206d that she purchased from me. She said, “I made my first herb bag with the embroidery design DILL that I bought from your shop. The designs are great. I need them for herb picking bags. I make natural face and body products with different kinds of herbs that I pick from the mountains.” Sounds idyllic right? Well you might not live in the mountains in Bulgaria, but you can make herb bags for your garden herbs. I made these two bags using this tutorial. I made my herb bags a bit bigger than the instructions; I cut the front and back to measure 7” x 10”.
