I made this super simple strip quilt for my great niece Alexa's birthday. It's half a jelly roll pack with some wider strips mixed in. The only quilting I did was stitching in the ditch. I could have done a bit more, but I was rushing a bit to get it done.
The applique letters are from Seasonal Bunting Embroidery Designs sc074d. The letters are 2.5" (65mm) tall and perfect for large projects like this.
I used 5D Quilt Design Creator to make a lovely label. I picked a simple format, but you can easily add a border or frame. Lots to choose from in the software. If you have this software, be sure to give it a try, it's really easy.
Anyway, I gave Alexa the quilt today. I think she liked it. It's often hard to tell how kids feel about items other than toys. Her mother loves it and that's good enough.
